Scenery using state of the art 3D Printing

Slot Car Scenics came about from a life long interest in Scalextric and then about 2 years ago (2017) purchasing my first 3D Printer with the idea to 3D print some scenery and general slot car bits and pieces to enhance my own layout.
The initial plan was to design and create items that were either not available commercially or very hard to source.
The items that seemed to not be available were more contemporary scenery buildings, structures and figures. The only things that seemed to be available were 50's and 60s style figures etc.
So i set about designing a basic Marshal Post tower in 1/32 scale and once this was made and on my track, i thought maybe some other people in the hobby are needing similar items.
So roll on two years and i have now got a small but expanding range of Slot Car related items all 3d printed available including in-house designed figures. The figures were much more difficult to implement that you would imagine, i will do a blog story on the process when i get the chance.
